Pros and cons of Sidetrack - For Feedbin and Feed Wrangler app for iPhone and iPad

Sidetrack - For Feedbin and Feed Wrangler app good for

Cleverly designed interactions make it a breeze to get caught up with your RSS feeds. The visual design is fresh and modern and the integration with other services (1Password, read-later services) is great.
I came across this app by chance when I was searching for the Feed Wrangler app. And what a nice discovery. What I love: the design which includes the choice of font, the speed browsing (Im still playing around with the timing but this is really good), the colour of the app and the gesture driven UI. There are a few issues- scrolling through the feed list isnt quite as smooth as Id like (although animation is very good on everything else) and a slight lag between pressing and viewing items on the feed list. My only other advice is the icon. I like everything about the icon except the angled shadows which feel a bit out of place on iOS.
Pretty well thought out UI, could use a little more fluidity and bounce with transitions, pull to refresh etc., but its still my current favourite.

Some bad moments

I was looking for an RSS reader replacement to reeder and unread as they have not been optimized for the iPhone 6 and I decide to try Sidetrack. I had never heard of it before, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Excellent interface, great integration with Feedwrangler. Definitely recommended! Just update with alternate them and dark mode!
Does a lot of things right: quick to flip through, easy to dig in, and slick to share. Any rss app that doesnt have 1 tap/swipe to send to instapaper (or equivalent) is a failure, and this app gets it right. Not a green fan, but there are theme options.
Nice simple newsreader with more advanced features tucked away for when youre ready. Love it.
I use Unread primarily (sorry, its just better) but this is a great secondary one. The swipe mechanism is incredible for buzzing through a prolific feed. If I havent gone into my feeds for awhile, I can zip through them here first as a sort of triage.
Of all the RSS readers I have tried this one is the easiest to understand and consistently just works!
This is a fantastic, modern RSS app. Its fast and solid, and has all the perks youd expect. It cleverly uses gestures, and allows for customization of those gestures. The author is also responsive to suggestions, which I love. Its a first screen must have for me. Im happy to see that in this new version, support has been expanded to include Feedbin.
